Notice of Trussville City Ordinances

Please review details here of two important city ordinances affecting our neighborhood.

Architectural Review

Please don’t forget to submit your proposed improvements to the ARC before work begins.  The Architectural Review page has a detailed section that outlines common changes and improvements that must be submitted to the ARC.  This includes changes and additions to landscaping, fences, decks, exterior home improvements, exterior painting and more.

Also, please remember that trailers, boats, and equipment must be kept out of sight at all times, except when in use.

Street Parking

The HOA would like to remind all residents that street parking is restricted. This causes issues with school buses, traffic congestion, and safety concerning visibility of children and pets. Street parking cannot be used for residents. Street parking is only allowed for:

  • landscaping and other daytime services
  • gatherings for guests
  • overnight guests

Also, please be mindful of daily bus schedules and take reasonable efforts to keep vehicles off the street during the hours of 6:30 – 7:30 AM and 2:00 – 4:00 PM.

Fines will be imposed after the first verbal or written warning.
